Yves Saint Laurent is the French fashion house founded by Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent. The house and designer are often abbreviated as YSL. Got this for about €2. Wasn't expecting much but was really surprised by this. With 9 sprays you get about 7 hours with about 1 and a half hours of projection with a medium sillage. I though that I would have to douse myself to get any sort of performance! Given the mediocre performance of the original the price of this makes you question what YSL are putting in the current formulation. More linear an less complex but at the price this has to be 5/5. Just make sure you get 4-5 sprays on your clothes to prolong the top notes otherwise they can be fleeting.

This perfume of hiltons is exceptionally close to Manifesto. It lacks the rich sweet depth of Manifesto but as a cheap alternative its a winner.

I just added a review on my fb account. It is my life rolling passed me. I had stopped buying Paris as I am on a serious budget. But i can totally afford this. Amazing. So intense. If you need a lasting fragrance just spay it on some moisturing cream. It will set it for hours.

This was a gift from my daughter, I only wear a few expensive perfumes so was surprised it was a really lovely light floral scent, not too heavy if used sparingly and lasted well. I was really impressed and to be honest couldn't believe it was £1 will definitely keep buying this one. Would pay more if the bottle was Nicer

Yes it is a fabulous copy of Paris, the original version that is. I was transported back to the girls in the office in the 80's, all power suits and curly perms dripping in the stuff- me included! It's extremely longlasting so go easy on that rather over-keen sprayer on the bottle. I love it.

Mankind is the most identical to YSL L'homme in every way, however, it does not last long either. But, for the cheaper price it is more worth it.

A nice lemon, mandarin opening , then a tonka powdery drydown. It's very weak,barely lasted a couple of hour's. With hardly any projection.
