There is 1999 for men and for women, just like 1881 has both variants. If the article does not mention for which it is, one can not give an opinion.

Never smelt the original 1888 by Cerutti - stumbled across this cheapy - all I can say is "WOW this is great!" Will be buying a big supply so I never run out....better than most of the expensive perfumes I have had over the years with only a few exceptions.

...this really is a lovely fragrance. They sell it in a shopping arcade near the marina in Dover, along with others. This is my favourite - it smells expensive too and lasts ages!!
