A smell-a-like is a perfume that smells like a designer fragrance but with a different name and packaging, and at a cheaper price. A smell-a-like isn't an exact copy, but often smells very similar.

I really love this one more subtle than ClassiClassiquet does not last as long. Its a top smell a like and at the price is a gift. The packaging and presentation is great so makes a lovely gift
Comments:
This is a gorgeous sent, I love it. I think it smells a lot like Chanel No5. I know it's not though but at this price I can spray a way!

I bought Parfen Perfume Mademoiselle from a shop in Reading, Broad Street Mall a few years ago. It is one of the best copies I have seen to date. Anyone knows where I can find it please, as the shop does not exist anymore?
PRESS REVIEW
Daily Mail (16 Oct 2013)
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle (£66.50, 50ml): There’s orange coming through — with maybe a little more in the way of florals. Very pretty.
Suddenly Madame Glamour by Lidl (£3.99, 50ml): I’m getting peach, orange and something more resinous: amber, maybe.
Verdict: Anyone in the business could tell you that one of these is Coco Mademoiselle. But the Lidl one is a respectable fragrance and not vastly dissimilar.
PRESS REVIEW
Express.co.uk (27 Jun 2011)
Chanel has lost out in a smell test to a cut-price supermarket scent.
Ninety per cent of women in the test turned their noses up at £61 Coco Mademoiselle in favour of Suddenly Madame Glamour from Lidl at £3.99 for 50ml.
The test was carried out on a panel of 150 women by an independent expert.
BLOGGER REVIEW
bodyconfidential.co.uk (21 Feb 2013)The perfume, although a lot less intense and long-lasting as Mademoiselle, is a very close match. Put it this way, if you were blindfolded and unsure which was being sprayed on your wrist, there’d be very few differences
BLOGGER REVIEW
A Thrifty Mrs (28 May 2012)
They smelt very similar when first applied, sisters who are mistaken for twins a lot but when you take a good look at them there is a couple of years difference and one has a longer nose. That kind of similarity, y'know?
On my skin the oriental notes in the Chanel play louder than in the Lidl for the first 20 mintues or so. I can detect the citrus a lot more in the Lidl but I like that for summer. As the day wore on the difference became harder to detect and if I hadn't written down which arm was wearing which scent (yes my memory is shocking) I probably wouldn't have been able to tell the difference after 4 hours worth of wear on a warm day.
BLOGGER REVIEW
Wake Up Buttercup (26 May 2012)I thought I could smell Chanel Coco Mademoiselle lingering around the office but upon further investigation found out it was actually suddenly madame glamour - the £3.99 perfume from Lidl.
BLOGGER REVIEW
Who Is She (1 May 2012)Lidl have a exact dupe fragrance to Coco Mademoiselle for an entire £2.99 for 100ml. Now I know what you’re thinking it’s too good to be true. So in the name of research I did a little test with my colleagues at work. Two people commented asking if it was a special occasion as I was wearing Chanel, and their looks were priceless as I revealed my little secret. I would definitely recommend picking up a bottle of this to use for work etc instead of using your “good†perfumes.
BLOGGER REVIEW
Bonkers about Perfume (30 Jun 2011)Count me in with the 91% of women in the blind test, because I did genuinely prefer Madame Glamour blind. It is the quieter of the two, and as regular readers know, I am a sucker for quiet. And what I also learnt is that to my nose it is not so much that Suddenly Madame Glamour smells all that expensive (though a darn sight more expensive than £3.99, I will say unequivocally), but rather that Coco Mademoiselle doesn't either...

Smells gorgeous , have used the testers in shop but unfortunately haven’t been able to get a bottle , been all over my area in north wales but without success

Excellent copy

Comments:
I have just purchased this from Lidl and I can honestly say it smell very similar to mademoiselle
Comments:
Oh my word, this is very much like the real one, and I have been getting compliments , lovely scent floral and fresh.
Comments:
Worn this for a long time and get so many comments on how lovely and fresh smelling it is.. definate winner.
Comments:
All of the above TRUE! Hard to believe but ALL TRUE and tested with CocoM original (Eau de perfume 100 ml tester) side by side. CocoM just as 'weak'as Suddenly MadamG! No difference whatsoever in 'strengthen' or longevity.A very short second, CocoM more oriental than Suddenly MadamG
Comments:
Treat yourself to this lidil version ...it's truly hard to tell the difference ...at such a low cost.....you will not be disappointed. Keep your more expensive Chanel for special occasions...
Comments:
I read that Madame Glamour smells similar to Coco Mademoiselle. Nah, surely not. Well, I was in Lidl the other day and thought I'd have a sniff. I was impressed enough to shell out the princely sum of £3.99, after all it might smell terrible on the skin but you know what? It doesn't, it smells lovely. It smells very similar to Coco Mademoiselle and dries down nicely. I'll hold my hand up to being a perfume snob. I'm a Molecule01 girl and a fan of Tom Ford and Tocca. I wouldn't have thought I'd being buying fragrance from Lidl but there you have it. I'm really impressed.
Comments:
Lovely fragrance gets lots of compliments
Comments:
Beautiful! greatly similar - can't beat this for quality and value.
Comments:
Very simular
Comments:
Smells exactly the same but may need to re-apply a few times throughout the day but at £3.99 who cares?
Comments:
It reminds of Coco Mademoiselle, but personally I couldn't mix them. CM is more oriental while Madame Glamour is more "flowery" let's say. But, it is a nice perfume. And yes I would prefer it for the office, not only because it is cheaper, but also lighter. Let's say is something like a light version of CM. But it is a good perfume for 4 euros.
Comments:
Eau nude is very like one of my favs - Chanel mademoiselle

Its so much like Chanel Chance. Not like Madamoiselle.
Comments:
I love channel coco madamoiselle and this is the nearest scent that lasts as the original . Tried other corporate brands and although very good copies couldn’t smell it after a few hours where as this was still on my clothes the next day .
Comments:
absolutely no resemblance. A mess of a concoction
Comments:
Performed a blind test with my daughter. She preferred Overdrive and was extremely surprised. This is worth buying - excellent!
Comments:
Awesome! very similar to the original and the smell lasts all day long!
Comments:
Very simular, sillage also good
Comments:
This is my signature scent. I just love it so was looking for cheaper version thats smells exactly the same. friend recommended a site that sells this for a fractions of the price. I was surprised how good it was and it lasted a long time on me.

I Soaked my clothes with this Miss TuTu and i can hardly smell anything unlike milton Lloyd Grasse which actually does smell like clinique aromatics elixir but does not last as long as the real thing
Comments:
Just recommended this perfume to a friend after she comments how nice it smells. Really good copy of the real thing but fraction of the price ðŸ‘
Comments:
This is a copy of Chanel Madamoiselle... TuTu Woman is a copy of Coco Chanel, i sell lots of both
Comments:
It smell really nice, but is not coco Chanel at all.
Comments:
Love it! Great alternative you can wear daily
Comments:
last quite long, but the smell is too strong and gets annoying after time
Comments:
Well, to me it is not 100% alike. It is very close, but personally I can tell the difference. I think this version has more incense. The duration in me was something like 2 hours, but fair price for the money
Comments:
almost
Comments:
Just bought miss tutu and I can 100% say it's exactly like the real one, so I will be stocking up on this one
Comments:
Great copy (bought from Amazon with free delivery). Love that I can use the scent liberally without a hefty price tag when I run out!
Comments:
This is a beautiful fresh masculine scent. It gets approving comments and it is really long lasting (more like an eau de parfum than a toilette). In fact the longevity of it has made it my signature aroma.
