This is a fab smell a like and it lasts for ages. However its a little heavy at first but calms down quickly. I use the original for special occasions although my friends don't know which is which and at the price for 100ml is an absolute gift

I bought this after these and Fragrantica's reviews as I wanted a reasonable clone for Chanel No. 5 and am so glad I did as it is far better than I thought it would be.
I won’t buy No. 5 today due to its being a shadow of itself but my chief memories of it stem from a bottle I had of the eau de toilette splash I was gifted in the early nineties which would have been a 1980s formulation. Vogue is definitely a very respectable clone for that version of No. 5 (in fact it is closer in spirit to the 80s version – today’s No. 5 is the one that smells like the poor quality dupe to me).
The aldehydic notes, skilfully blended with rich white florals and rose on top of a bed of woody and powdery notes and luxury soap is the same as No. 5 but Milton Lloyd’s performance is much better. Drydown is rich, haunting and luxuriantly feminine. I did as one reviewer did on Fragrantica and sprayed a paper towel with it, thinking I’d return to it to assess it later but before I could it reached out and seduced me with wafts of absolutely heavenly fragrance being carried in on the breeze coming through the kitchen door to where I was sitting, a bit like the beckoning spectral hand of fragrance in the vintage cartoons reaching out to tap me on the shoulder.
A dupe? Lovely in its own right - Bravo Milton Lloyd - please keep making it!

Imagine my surprise when it was revealed to be a Lidl perfume — I even had to check the bottles hadn’t been muddled up!

It won't last the smell yet it's cheaper than Channel 5,you can use it everyday during ordinary days but for special event,better use the original one.

Fabulous and so alike. Difficult to tell the difference only it doesn't last as long but at the price no problem. Although don't expect Lidl to have it in stock it must be one of their most popular items. I often buy on ebay pay a little more but saves a wasted lidl trip. Lidl get more stock its super

The best 'smell-a-like' chanel 5 i've found. I use it for everyday wear and leave my real one for special occasions. Doesn't ladt long and have to re-apply but that really isn't a problem.
