A smell-a-like is a perfume that smells like a designer fragrance but with a different name and packaging, and at a cheaper price. A smell-a-like isn't an exact copy, but often smells very similar.

Very similar, from a spanish brand.

There seems to be a lot of confusion on this site between Sauvage and Eau Sauvage. Two completely different fragrances. I'm reviewing a clone of Eau Sauvage. This can be picked up (at time of writing) for 3 euro for 75ml because it's being phased out. An amazing clone of Eau Sauvage. Doesn't smell as expensive on that intial spray but soon after you can't tell the difference. I get about 8 hours with this. Projects moderately for a couple of hours and sits close to the skin thereafter. Grab this while you can! Dis a review of it here:

I originally posted a dupe for Sauvage as being Gentle Elsatys. I got it for a friend. After receiving it, they stated it isn't a good dupe. Please don't purchase it as such.

I haven't smelled the original Sauvage or this one I'm recommending. But I just purchased a dupe for Sauvage for a friend that they absolutely adore. I did a lot of research online for this, since there are numerous dupes listed on youtube and other places online if you search it out. This one is the very best I found. My friend was so thrilled to have it. It's called Gentle Elsatys by Reyane, a French company. I purchased it on Ebay for $23.99, free shipping for 3.4 oz. Best wishes if you want to seek it out. There is more than one person selling it on Ebay. Perhaps other places too.

This snells absolutely nothing like CD Eau Sauvage. Unbelievable how anyone could compare them. This smells exactly like Clarins Eau Dynamisante.

Dead ringer for the original Eau Sauvage. Do not mix this up with Sauvage as they do not smell alike. Putting Green had a long lasting citrus scent that gives great projection. Lasts all day on my skin.

U.K.Male, do not confuse Dior "Sauvage" (first release 2015) and Dior "Eau Sauvage" (first release 1966), they are two absolutely different scents.
And Omerta "Putting Green" is really very similar to Dior "Eau Sauvage", even better than original.
Concerning Dior "Sauvage", today there are many clones of it, and I assume, that Omerta "Meet Me On The Wild Side" is its clone, although I have yet not sniffed this Omerta's scent.

Bought this after reading reviews it smells like "Dior sauvage" ...
NO IT DOESNT! It's a lie! It smells nothing like! Smells like cheap shaving foam! Don't waste your money ! Had to give it a one star but isn't even worth that!! Looks like urine and the smell is atrocious!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This is better than Dior's recent reincarnation of their classic scent that is currently on the market. Putting Green lasts much longer and has slightly more projection. Remembering the original and discovering this after feeling disappointed with Dior's reincarnation, I can say that I am happy again, so much so I bought two bottles of Omerta's Putting Green.
